GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Sec-30 Gandhinagar has a guidance and counseling cell which helps the
students in providing the best psychological and educational support needed in developing their
potentialities and achieving the optimum level of happiness and social usefulness. The Vidyalaya has a
competent and professional counselor appointed on a contract basis. Regular classes of counseling
periods are also allotted in the time table for all the classes.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic the guidance and counseling cell is doing a
commendable job in boosting the morale of the students during these tough times, providing them the
much-needed support required for the mental well-being of the students. The school administration is
in constant touch with the parents and students in these critical times and the Vidyalaya has also
created an email account (kv1gandhinagar@gmail.com) which invites queries and suggestions related
to COVID 19 from the parents and students.
